About Founder

Mr. Mehdi Meahdizadeh Tabrizi

Mr. Mehdi Meahdizadeh Tabrizi was born on September 20, 1942 (on the Autumnal Equinox) in Mianeh Iran. Mr. Tabrizi is a man who loves God, humanity and teaching. His father was a successful business man and his mother was a homemaker. Mr. Tabrizi has been helping family, neighbors, and friends since 1950. From 1956 -1957 he had ran an independent small business.
Over the years Mr. Tabizi has served thousands of students in Iran, teaching math, physics, organic chemistry, biology, botany, geology, track and field, soccer, volleyball, and basketball.
He emphasized that everyone has God given talents that excellent teachers could help them to discover, each in their own way and in their own time. His specialty was to uncover the talents of underachieving students in 2 hours, through effective guidance and interactive assessment.
Mr. Tabrizi obtained his B.A.in Teacher Training from Tehran Teacher Training University. He received his M.A. in Education from The George Washington University in Washington D.C. . He was also a popular lecturer at Catholic University in Washington D.C., teaching physics to art students in order to prove that everyone is gifted and talented. His academic adviser Dr. John Taylor wrote a letter of commendation to the Shah of Iran, offering congratulations on the excellence of Mr. Tabrizi's teaching. Mr. Tabizi also wrote a paper comparing London Open University in the UK with the University of Maryland Open Educational Resources in Maryland.
In 1986 he founded Avicenna University in Washington D.C. His vision for all the great leaders, teachers, students, and people is to focus deeply and seriously on the essence of nature as an excellent teacher, the word of the prophets, the holy books, and the ambitious ideas of scholars, scientists and inventors, in order to provide appropriate remedies for a digital world.
Mr. Tabrizi coordinated a call with the white house when Sadam was burning innocent children and elderly people with chemical weapons. God Bless President Ronald Reagan. He decided to help the peace and after 22 days, peace was achieved between Iran and Iraq along with other world leaders.
Currently, Mr. Tabrizi has founded and plans to use 26 University as a spiritual tool to save and serve the world.
